I purchased this for my 8-month-old standard poodle and the adult version for my 9-year-old Cockapoo and they both hate it. I first introduced this brand of vitamins to them by itself and they both didn’t finish them. So I figured I would mix it in their fresh food but nope they barely tolerate eating it. My 8-month-old is very food motivated and practically eats EVERYTHING except for this. She even eats things that aren’t eatable but again except for this. My puppy always finishes her food with very little mess but not this time. She picked through her food trying to avoid eating the vitamin. My senior dog always eats all her food but also left food behind. I believe the smell and taste need to be improved in order to appeal to dogs.My puppies love them and can't wait to get them in the morning.If you got a picky eater, try to sprinkle this in their food.Puppy loves it. He liked the taste. More importantly, this was his first ride ever without getting sick or trying to crawl on top of me. He just chilled in the passenger seat.My vet recommended these and they did not upset my dog's stomach. They are chews that I crumble over his food and he really likes it. I started with a half chew a day to acclimate him to the added vitamins then upped it to one a day based on his weight. Overall I would recommend thesegiving our puppy vitamins he will eat, chews this wellArrived earlier than expected. Good product.My puppy (Chihuahua) wouldn't go near these despite multiple attempts. He took a very small piece after I broke it into small pieces but he spit it out. They have a very strong smell. They are soft those so would be easy to chew for small puppies/dogs.This puppy vitamin had a strong vitamin scent and was too large for my puppy to eat. I had to break it up into a bunch of pieces, and it was very crumbly and messy, and noticed it made my puppies urine a darker yellow color and worried about dark urine stains with long term useDon't know about the taste as I just break it up and mix it with hard bits or soft food. And I wouldn't expect much from the breath aid part as it is crumbles and gets swallowed pretty quick, but just like a human multi-vitamin I'm using it just to fill in the gaps in a balanced diet. Great price.My puppy absolutely Loves his morning vitamin. He will be a year old in 2 months and I hope they are sold for adult dogs so I can keep him on the same brand. ❤️❤️❤️
