There are a set of amino acids that your body can't create by itself, called "essentials." Miss one or more too long....This supplement is my go-to for my "bad days," whether I'm being lazy, I'm sick, or I just don't want to bother counting. It's a great supplement. It has the balance of the the essential amino acids. In my case, there's another reason to insert this in my diet occasionally, in that my health requires some extra "building blocks" occasionally. So, here I have them.Really, the only downside of this is that it is a little more expensive than some other brands. Consistent quality makes up for the price. I've tried other products, and nothing else comes close to how my body appears to respond. And, of course, try finding something else that is labelled as vegetarian, soy free, gluten free, yeast free, sweetener free, preservative free. As with most supplements, there are warnings to consult healthcare if pregnant or nursing.I’ve been trying to recover from Lyme Disease for many years and just couldn’t shake the exhaustion and brain fog. Also, shipping was not so fast, but I it arrived within the deadline.I find that this brand is helpful to me getting proper amounts of amino acids.Supplements can be very helpful but make sure you do your research on them properly especially if you have health conditions already or you're on medications, unless they're prescribed by a naturopath. Look out for reactions because this Solgar Amino 75 gave me one. I felt great the first few days but then I noticed my face was getting hot and blushing in the evenings. It gave me a nightmare which is rare for me. I stopped taking it and it took a few days to return to normal. I have hypothyroidism and take levothyroxine so I think that's probably why I had the reaction. This is just what happened to me so if you have a healthy thyroid then you might not have a problem. Different ppl react differently to different things so bear this in mind.Since taking the amino acids, I’m sleeping better, my energy is better and I actually have less pain during my periods. I couldn’t be happier with this.This product can help you get most of the aminos you need for mental & physical health.I like Solgar, they are good quality for the money.Really noticed a difference with my hair growth!
